Jewelspan is excited to announce our second artisan jewelry competition! We invite you to submit a recent piece that you feel will 'awe' our judges. There will be one winner, one runner up, and one honorable mention. The entry fee is $20 (no entry fee for Jewelspan members).

All handcrafted jewelry artisans are eligible. You do not have to be a Jewelspan member to enter, we encourage all contestants to take a look at Jewelspan.com and what we offer our members.

What we are looking for:

Our judges are looking for contemporary jewelry with originality in the use and interpretation of the materials used. Jewelry entered should be conceived and perfected by the jeweler’s own hands. Designs will be selected and accessed according to their originality and degree of innovation. Contest is open to artisan jewelers and jewelry students worldwide.

Specifications:

• Recent work and not previously published.
• Works from all mediums will be excepted, as long as the finished piece is a wearable jewelry adornment.
• Cool-Factor, a piece of artisan jewelry that takes our breath away.
• All entries must be finished jewelry, no renderings or CAD drawings accepted.
• Entrants can submit up to three pieces per entry. (Entry fee $20)
• All jewelry entries must measure at least 1200 pixels width and height.
• Acceptable formats include jpg, tiff, giff, png. Maximum file size is 5MB. Entries should be jewelry. Photos should not include models or unnecessary props.
• Entry images photos cannot contain watermarks or other text.
• Photos should be in focus with no reflection.
• All entries must be submitted by July 15, 2014
